An elegant classic.
Pepita is much more than just a design — it embodies the fusion of tradition and modern style. Embracing the spirit of the 1960s, Porsche first officially featured the Pepita pattern in the original 911’s equipment catalog. It quickly became a recognizable Porsche feature, adorning not only seat centers but also door panels, trunks and glove compartments. To this day, Pepita is one of the most popular fabrics for refining vehicles in the Sonderwunsch (special request) workshop. As a tribute to the history of Porsche, the iconic Pepita pattern continues to be featured in a variety of our accessories, blending tradition with modern standards of quality and design.

A Pattern with a History
Porsche’s use of tartan fabric in their car interiors has a fascinating history that dates back to the early 1970s. The idea was sparked by Anatole Lapine, Porsche’s chief designer at the time, who wore tartan trousers that inspired the design team to explore this classic pattern for their cars. These tartan fabrics were chosen not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their durability, as they needed to be light, fast and abrasion-resistant to withstand the conditions inside a sports car. Capture your little piece of the heritage with the Porsche Touring Bag. Crafted from premium leather and featuring a distinctive tartan fabric, this bag echoes the iconic interiors of classic Porsche models. The embossed Porsche Crest adds a touch of sophistication, making it not just a functional accessory but a statement piece.
