The limited 50Y Porsche Design Capsule Collection is an homage to this unmistakable design DNA. This also applies to the 50Y Edition of the Porsche Design P´8942 in the 50Y special colorway O (black, platinum gray), which is a limited edition of 1972 pieces worldwide. The exclusive sunglasses impress with their combination of technical sophistication and design, inspired by Porsche's brand core: elegance of function. The name derives from the key design and functional element, the open-construction spring hinge. The innovative spring hinge ensures particular comfort for the wearer and blends in seamlessly with the overall look – its elegant complexity is only revealed on closer inspection. The front part of the sunglasses combines VISION DRIVE polarized lenses in a modern interpretation of the aviator shape with a narrow but distinctive black frame. The individual limited number of the glasses (0001-1972) can be found on the inside of the temple. Manufactured from 100% titanium with RXP® temple tips, the limited edition is extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear.
